Project Overview
The Blog Platform (With Authentication) is a full-stack web application that allows users to create, manage, and interact with blog posts securely. Users can register and log in to their accounts, create rich-text blog posts, edit or delete their own content, like posts, and engage in discussions through comments.
The platform implements secure JWT-based authentication, protected routes, and role-based authorization to ensure users can only modify their own content. A rich text editor enhances the writing experience, while dynamic UI updates provide a smooth and interactive user experience.
This project demonstrates strong skills in authentication & authorization, RESTful API development, CRUD operations, relational data modeling with MongoDB, state management in React, and secure full-stack application architecture.
Real-Time Chat App (Socket.io)
Project Overview
The Real-Time Chat App (Socket.io) is a full-stack web application that enables users to communicate instantly through live messaging. The application uses WebSocket technology via Socket.IO to provide real-time, bidirectional communication between clients and the server.Users can join chat rooms, send and receive messages instantly, see active participants, and experience real-time updates without refreshing the page. The system efficiently manages multiple connections simultaneously and ensures low-latency message delivery.
The backend is built with Node.js and Express, handling socket connections and user sessions, while the frontend (React or vanilla JavaScript) dynamically updates the UI as messages are received. Optional features such as typing indicators, message timestamps, online/offline status, and private messaging enhance the overall user experience.
